She didn't (and doesn't) perform them in a technically perfect fashion, but her difficulty level is such that she essentially can't lose the competition if she stays on her feet.

There is another vault, the Produnova, that used to inject some more drama into the completion. Biles declined to compete that one on grounds of "I'm not trying to die".

The gymnastic authorities downgraded the difficulty value for women to make people stop trying it. (The problem with the Produnova as compared to, say, Biles hardest vault, is that messing it up badly doesn't make you land on your butt: you land on your neck.)

There is probably only 1 woman in the world beating Femke Bol in a 400m race. Netherlands brought in a ringer who didn't run in the heats yesterday. She runs down damn near everyone like that
