Those 11 a.m. games are just placeholders. More just TBDs. The Sunday game at 3:30 does kind of blow even though I appreciate going to bed before midnight

Seeing that they've lost their last 8 game 1s (woof), that's probably a pretty safe bet.

  • 2023: 3-2 vs Minnesota (2OT), 5-4 vs Seattle (OT), 4-3 @ Vegas (OT)
  • 2024: 4-3 vs Vegas, 4-3 vs Colorado (OT), 3-2 vs Edmonton (2OT)

No thank you on Nils. I'm still not sure who i want to come out of the lineup when Miro gets back. I think we need Bichsel and his style of play and I think his pairing with Petrovic has been pretty good. Part of me wants to see Cici come out but I'm guessing it will be Petrovic.

I mean I wouldn't put Nils out here in these playoffs now. No chance. He brings something we don't have, but that benefit doesn't outweigh him being out for 4-5 months etc.

Zero chance Ceci is coming out. He's PK1. You simply juts limit ice time when Miro gets back.

Always great to have another capable defenseman ready. I doubt Nils replaces anyone at this point, but you never know what kind of injuries will pop up. Hell we almost lost Bichsel and Harley to bad injuries the last two games

Word on the Street is that it could be Bichsel who makes way for Miro when he's back. I hate that personally, but can kinda see it because it would give you three RD instead of two, so you could go LD-RD all the way down. And the trade-off between Bichsel and Petrovic probably isn't massive at this point in Bichsel's career (I think Bich has the chance to be a great one too).

Acknowledge the L/R benefit to being balanced, but Miro has played on the right most of the time since we've been imbalanced for years. I would hate to see Bichsel come out as I think his physical play has been a big spark and something this team hasn't really had before.

I know people have posted the audio multiple times, but it's fun to see the video from the announcers' POV. Josh is all of us, while Razor is just over there being the consummate professional. Crazy that he doesn't react emotionally at all to any of the goals:

It sucks because Colorado is usually pretty loaded and we always play them early.

Lets just hope Hellebuyck goalie still has the yips

Now that our days of watching on victory + are behind us, do yall know an easy way to watch games delayed? It seems espn and the tbs/max/tnt apps don't let you pause/rewind or start from live. I know espn throws the games on the app the next day, but I'd rather not wait that long. I just want a way to start watching the beginning of a game an hour or two after it starts.

We have uverse with a dvr so can record the broadcasts and watch later. Not sure about watching via apps.
