For sure, he does not get enough credit but he's a dog on the PK and is one of the best defensive dmen in the league.

Can we talk about the new rule that is called a double minor? That seems really unfair.

Lindell, Harley, and Bischel have stepped up in Miro's absence. Can't wait til wait get him back. If we can get to the next round, look out.

Listening to the national guys call this game when their shiny new boy MacKiinnon doesn't win:

I dont know what the hell the Avs were doing for 3:50 seconds of that double minor. It almost didnt matter, but Esa with the fingertip save was nails.

What a game, AGAIN. The Stars were the better team this morning lol, and were again probably unlucky to not have scored at least another goal or two. Bednar after the game was talking to the media and said that there's just not a lot of room out there at the moment, and I think that is the perfect description of what this series has been. Furthermore, I also think a large part of why the Stars are leading this series now is because they have been better in tight spaces and have seriously tightened up on the backend.

The one area they absolutely have to clean up is penalties, and while I think the stripes have not been great from an even-ness standpoint, a lot of what they are calling are legit stick infractions, and that just can't happen at the rate it is for the Stars. Keep the sticks out from under players and keep the sticks below the belt. I do wish the stripes would let them play or call it much more 50/50. It seems pretty lobsided right now, and if that is going to continue to be the case, MacKinnon and Makar will eventually cash in,

I guess the question " can a team just flip a switch" has been answered regardless of what happens the rest of the way.

That pick was absolutely tragic and those refs should not ref another playoff game.

I couldn't tell you what a pick or interference is in hockey today. Makes absolutely no sense. Rewatching that play, I do think we played it particularly poor, as I think Harley should've read the entire situation better, but it was 100% a pick and idk how you don't call that.

I get it, but you could say the same thing about the other handful of guys we have making giant money on the team. Benn and Seguin stepped up last night, but Roope and Johnston have been equally non-existent, along with Duchene and Granlund. I actually think Rantanen has been pretty good at creating stuff for others, he's just not getting points for it.

Rantanen's penalty in the 1st was kind of a weak call to take the Stars off the PP but the most egregious call in my opinion was Duchene's "trip" on Val. He was going down on his own after losing an edge and Duchene's stick was in the area but not the reason Val went down. Refs have to be better than that and not take over a game. I'm sure they felt like they had to even things up after calling the Avs for two legit penalties

We are very lucky to have Josh and (especially) Razor. They are so much better than the other crews out there.
