Some great color photos of G. Rollie White. Memories for a lot of us, 'wow, look how ancient and small' for younger Ags!
Most photos are of G. Rollie White but also of the Natatorium, the DeWare Field House, Kyle Field from various times, shots of the campus around Kyle from the air, etc. And then a lot of photos of it being torn down to make way for the Kyle expansion. Note the palm trees. Not very common in central Texas though growing up in south Texas I saw them everywhere!
Ticket pull for football games were at the G. Rollie ticket windows in the front, across from the MSC. Photos also show it set up for concerts. Elvis performed there in the 1950's !!

Really really good match today. It seems like we re-discovered who we are as a team today. That seems big for the program going forward.

After losing to LSU and Florida, Florida sweep lsu 25-10, 25-18, and 25-17 lol we're gonna be looking back at the lsu game all season

I would love to see an Aggie game in that stadium! Didn't know it was right on campus wow!! Thanks for that! I grew up in south Texas, grandma lived in South Padre Island so the palm trees were the norm!
Hellmuth played all 6 rotations today and did well in the back row
Didn't see this till watching highlights…first win vs. Arkansas since 2019.
I remember G Rollie quite well. Saw many volleyball matches with Stacy Sykora. Basketball with Lisa Branch scoring at will. I graduated in here as well. Last few days before graduation I walked the campus and took pics of several buildings. It's like I knew some may not remain. I didnt know the President's house was demoed. I used to work at the President's office and had office Christmas parties there.taylorswift13_ said:

G Rollie and SWC -didn't watch VB but have great memories of Shelby and battles with Sutton/Richardson, Hollingsworth, Lemons and Guy Lewis. packed houses for every game back then....ask John Thornton.
And next game is against tu at their place Wednesday… let's hope Georgia rattled their entire athletic program
Just watched a replay. Not sure of her name, but the really tall girl played a lot more today than I'm used to seeing. Blocked very well!

We watched a few vball games in GRollie in our day plus basketball, etc. The place had an echo or reverb to it that just made everything obnoxiously loud.
Ital Lopuyo I'm assuming and yeah I thought she had her best game as an Aggie today. More power with her swing than I have seen her have
