When a player on defense receives the ball from the opponent and securely passes it to a teammate! Usually the back row players get the most digs, like Ava Underwood
Got to watch the replay last night. Man that was one wild volleyball game. Suspense on every play in the 4th and 5th sets. Heck I was looking at the play by play from the ncaa scoreboard and was getting excited/nervous about what was about to happen. I will say this the girls had several opportunities to fold, but they didn't! They kept coming back and got the win in austin. That's probably the best volleyball game I will ever see. Congratulations to the ladies and to Coach Morrison for a hard earned and well deserved victory against the horns.

They are part of the swim team and take off clothing as the sips scores go up. I think by point 20 or so, they are down to their swim speedos.
I'm assuming anyone can just walk in off the street wearing nothing about that as well? Who wants to volunteer to put that to the test?

The RPI is great but sooner or later we need a top 25 ranking next to our name IMO
Hopefully later on today we will!
Are the RPI details published anywhere? With Texas not dropping at all, it would be interesting to see where all the numbers lie. Was there a big gap between 7 and 8? College volleyball is so top heavy that it seems to take a lot to move up unless you sustain a bunch of wins versus very good teams like what SMU has done.

#25 North Carolina at 17-2 hasn't hit the meat of their conference schedule yet. They travel to #1 Pitt, #12 smu, Notre Dame and #4 Louisville over the next two weeks.
There are some ranked teams that are just head scratchers

The bias to protect the original preseason bracket is evident… they rank some programs and act like they're so far above everyone else that they don't punish them for losses

There is also just not a lot of faith from voters in the SEC…we need more parity and investment in the sport from the teams at the bottom.

Sucks but at least both of our starting middles are juniors. If they both come back it isn't an immediate concern, right?
Bright side of it: Way better to know that now than to have someone in your program that doesn't love volleyball and doing it every day. Those become problems on your team.
We have literally no depth behind them. No one on the bench next year. I'm sure they will find someone just as good to replace her, but it's still a loss.
She is one of the best jumpers in the track class too, so it's a blow to our track to as well

Sounds like someone that just wants to go to Texas anyway. If so, good riddance. Was the plan for her to do T&F here as well, did she not have an offer from us for that?
