lol much appreciated, I am excited for Aggie Volleyball! I actually haven't been to a single game under the Morrison era due to some major medical concerns with a family member. But I'm gonna try to make it to Aggieland this fall! Hopefully for a weekend tourney, or a big match like tu or Kentucky/Florida! But I'll for sure be there in Reed when we're hosting the first and second round!

It feels like no team is immune to losing top players anymore, even those with recent success. The challenge is not just recruiting talent but keeping them happy and committed long-term.

Morrison has done an amazing job keeping the team intact so far, but if we keep rising, we'll definitely have to deal with poaching attempts. Having a strong AD like Trev Alberts, who understands what it takes to maintain an elite volleyball program, should help.

Also, completely agree on the merch situation! Aggie volleyball deserves better representationindividual player shirts would be a great way to support the team and get them some well-earned NIL money.

Excited to see what this season brings! Hopefully, you get to make it to Reed this yearsounds like some big matches are coming up!

You scared me with that first paragraph lol! But I read in volleyball forums that people were trying to get Lednicky, and I'm sure some schools would have thrown so much money at her, as with other players we have as well! What really surprised me was how we only lost 1 player to the portal on a squad with so many starters returning. You see teams falling apart everywhere, but all that tells me is that Jamie, his coaches, and the girls have created a strong culture!!! Which makes me even hungrier for some volleyball content!

Probably for PR, to build a brand. I have a feeling won't be a bottom feeder next year. I bet they finish in the 8-12 range

It'll be an interesting experiment to watch. They've recruited a couple of good classes and brought in some good transfers, like the Princeton OH, but still seems hard to have continuity. Then again, SMU had a good team last year.

They are going to be more talented than Alabama and Mississippi state, they just won't be the most seasoned team. Who knows, but they are in a hot bed for top talent. I could see them making noice to not finish last place

Aggie Spring Schedule

April 2nd - Maroon vs White 7:30pm

April 5th - vs TCU, vs SMU 1pm & 5pm at Reed

April 12th - @ Baylor, vs Rice (@Baylor) 11am & 1:30pm

April 26th - vs LSU, vs SMU both at Dallas 3pm and 8pm

Normally these spring games aren't broadcast in any way right? Wish someone would just throw something up. I did it with my kids' club teams. No reason they can't do the same.

I think so too! What an awesome and competitive schedule for the spring!! Will keep the girls sharp and working hard! Some great tests to see where we're at! Although I'm sure these other schools must be afraid of us, mostly spring is girls working together for the first time, that's not a major issue for us lol!

Right I really wish we could see these games! I know there's streaming rights and stuff, but how hard is it to broadcast our home games live on YouTube! We don't even need announcers, just let the PA announcer be the broadcast sound and give us an angle to watch! Hopefully there's some play by play online!
