Arkansas still seems to be the favorite! We need Jack Turner not to medal in the Heptathlon and Scottie Vines not to win the High Jump! They just have so many options to score and we have very few! The long jump really hurt! We were projected to score at least 1 and Arkansas none, they walk away with 10!

Auhmad Robinson gets lane 6 and should win his heat!

Antonie Nortje gets lane 4 in the faster heat! So he could be pushed to a good time!!

We saw today the outside lanes don't always get the best advantage so we really need Auhmad to push it and the get the pole position!! If he wins his heat he's gonna have to hustle cause heat 2 will be blazing! We really need more than 10 points here!

Right now I have USC and A&M about tied around 38 points with arkansas in the high 40s. We need some help in the high jump to keep them from 10 points, also didn't see what happened to Yaseen in the 5k but hopefully that carries over to tomorrow. 60H is our biggest upside I see. Also getting some points from Gavin Champ in the TJ would be huge. Hopefully Blake is gets the momentum for day 2 started early with his best event, the 60H where he has the 2nd best PB in the field.

Scottie Vines is talented, not sure what happened to him at conference but hopefully it happens again! We really need Jack Turner to have an off day and Jordan Anthony not to do anything special!!

Gavin Champ is consistent so if the field struggles like they did in the long jump, I think he could score!! Really need Blake to have a triple PR! The hurdles puts him in scoring position and we need some chaos in the pole vault (never fails in the hep)!

There might be a rule that if you scratch or dnf you are automatically scratched from the rest of you events to prevent people from using their top 16 marks to limit the field in events they are not running

Probably true!! Either way I wonder how comes back in the 3000. The potential is there, but there's gotta be some hesitation. I wonder if he takes it out fast or stays in the middle or something
