So why was he Dq'd. He was tripped up by the Oregon runner behind him. Looked incidental all around

I was typing my post while you were yours.

Just like out 4x400m got DQ'd at indoors.

That really sucks.

I thought 4x4 indoors was an easy out for the officials to make arky feel better. .

, even though Auhmahd had position...

just trying to figure out why they would think Sam thought it was a tactical advantage to not faceplant after being kicked from behind...

He could not done anything different. He nearly stopped and helped another runner up. Incredible character! I figure with the trip and turning and wanting to help another competitor he would have probally ran a 1:47

No reason to give him a DQ there, if you're not gonna give it to anyone else, it should've just been a continuation of the race and incidental contact. It seems very fishy to give it to Sam and only him.

Wife started a new job so not sure if can go to Oregon prior like we wanted, but his kinda made me preturbed enough to ask her forgiveness and my daughter and I just go and support the Aggies Even more in Oregon
