Awesome fight. You could tell after paddy landed the first clean shot, Gaethje had zero fear of his power. Paddy landed like 10 uppercuts and they did no damage. Pretty wild.

Edit: paddy is tough as hell. I didn't buy into the whole scouser bit but I'm sold now. Ol boy has a heck of a chin

Agreed. After the second eye-poke I thought he would try to get the fight to the ground. His stand-up had no affect on Gaethje.

Ya that's why I think that press conference was staged… heck it got me to watch the match. I was also disappointed in the match, 1st round was the best but after that, all they did was trade jabs. The best matchup was the Asian fight van vs tiare

The whole beef was made up. Strickland said it in his post fight interview.
