Rinderknech/Vacherot made a great run to the Finals today at Indian Wells. Both Aggies, and cousins.

They were outstanding.

Rinderknech also took Alcarez to three sets in a great singles match. He had quite the run in the Singles side also. I was there at Indian Wells, and yelled "Gigem Aggies" as he was waving to the crowd after the match and I saw him give the thumbs up at the end of the match. That was a great match, he really pushed Alcarez and he had some great baseline shots. Rinderknech's first serve is great, he had several aces against Alcarez who is a great returner. For an Aggie tennis fan, it was a match for the ages.

Rinderknech is playing the best tennis of his life. Alcarez was playing very good tennis in the first set against Arthur but Arthur just played better. Arthur was playing top 10 level tennis in that match.

In doubles, Arthur and Val's opponents were very talented and experienced. Arthur and Val on the other hand had several " I thought you were going to get it" points. Their inexperience as partners really showed at times.
Hopefully they'll continue to play doubles together. That could really stretch out their tennis careers.

Exactly, I felt Arthur played aggressive in that first set against Alcarez. Alcarez was playing at Alcarez level, but he couldn't catch up to Arthur's first serve. Arthur's forehand shots were also pushing Alcarez deep behind the baseline. Alcarez played like Alcarez, with his improved serve and his forehand speed and court coverage, but Arthur seemed to have just played better.

It was one of the most exciting sets I have ever seen with Alcarez and Arthur. The crowd was heavy Alcarez, and at times some got carried away and took away from the match

Then I was at the Djokovic Draper match. Probably the best point I have ever seen in that match, and that was another match for the ages.
