They let go of an Aggie legend, Jay Holmes, who is one of the most respected and loved coaches in the country against the wishes of the alumni swimmers, after we sent a letter of support signed by over 150 former swimmers. The man has bled maroon since he set foot on campus as a freshman swimmer in 1980 & had been part of the lifeblood of the program for over 40 years.

They let go of Jason Calanog, one of the most passionate and innovative young coaches in our sport who helped launch the careers of Caeleb Dressel, Ryan Murphy, and Joseph Schooling among many more.

And now they let go of Jay Lerew, one of the most accomplished and decorated diving coaches in the country, just days after his freshman diver won the NCAA platform title? And not one photo or video on all of the S&D social media with a picture of Emilio celebrating with his coach, as if Jay wasn't there. The disrespect is gross.

All so our guys could finish in 30th place at NCAAs? Make this BS make sense.

Jimbo buyout $77 million. Trev Alberts has made three hires. All bargain basement. I don't think that is a coincidence.

- Bucky looks like a home run, but he had some head coaching experience.
- Earley was promoted from hitting coach with no head coaching experience. He was a disaster year 1, better so far in year 2. Jury still out.
- Blaire Anderson has been a complete disaster through 2 years.

Hiring cheap can be a good strategy if you pull the plug on the mistakes quickly. Keep flipping the coin. We'll see.
