I only have one team (the one that several posters have here on premierleague.com) so I don't know how universal the scoring system is for various fantasy leagues, but I've discovered that having high cost goalies really isn't worth it. Use the extra money for good midfielders or strikers if you can afford them.

Of course I'm only in third in my league. I think BBRex could provide better advice as I know he's one of the people beating me. Considering half of his team is from Chelsea it's not surprising

Thanks for the recommendation, but I don't know as much as I would like. I do like Hasselbaink (a former Chelsea man) and Shearer. Neville's been good in the past. Everton has been doing well, so Watson's probably a decent choice at back.

I had Lehmann on my team, but dropped him because he's been giving up a lot of goals. In fact, Thierry Henry is a good choice at forward because Arsenal has to score points to win, and many times just to draw.

If you can get them, Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard and back John Terry are both strong players who will earn you points.

Wright-Phillips is a great player to have.

If you can get them, Henry and Lampard are very good. Try to drop Lehmann and get Cech.
