I don't see why she was not used more often in matches during the regular season. Every time I've seen her sub in, the team has seemed more solid and agressive. Most recently she came in against Kansas and rebounded the girls to a victory, and she stabalized the team against Nebraska long enough for the girls to stage an attack before finally "running out of time."

It's difficult to say. It might be that Corbelli had a rotation that was comfortable together, so she didn't want to mess with it too much. It might be, too, that she wasn't quite ready to step into a bigger role with the team for some reason. I wondered why she transferred in as a senior, but with Munsch hurt, she might really have a chance to make her mark before she leaves.

Vick is a fantastic player with wealth of experience behind her, but I think she may have transferred in a lame duck. Corbelli only fell back on her when the match already seemed decided, and even then she would usually instead sub in one of the freshmen like Megan Kainz to invest play time in her up-and-comings. Tremendous credit is due to the whole squad for the rally against KSU, but Vick more than held up her end, IMHO.
