Well, Chelsea could only manage a 1-1 draw against Birmingham after finally scoring in the 82nd minute.

Liverpool and Man City were all set to play for a scoreless draw until the 90th minute when Musampa scored for City to secure a 1-0 victory.

Arsenal took a 1-0 win today over Middlesbrough with Reyes scoring the only goal in the 73rd.

And for the surprise of the day... in the 2nd Half right now, with Howard in goal...Man U is down 2-0 to Norwich!!!
Arsenal will regain 2nd place in the table if Norwich holds on.

also, Brian McBride played a full 90 minutes for Fullham in a 3-1 loss to Bolton.

Blackburn shut out Southampton 3-0 while Portsmouth defeated Charlton 4-2.

That really hurts ManU. Arsenal probably passed them for good. Chelsea did what they have to do -- eight more points and it's over. After a tough Champion's League match, I think the draw is disappointing, but OK.

That's what Ferguson gets for fielding his B team to start the match and them subbing in his stars later when he saw that it was going to be a fight. ManU isn't Chelsea Sir Alex. You don't have the world class depth that Chelsea have. ManU rarely even threatened and the 2 goals that Norwich scored were well-deserved. I hate seeing Howard give up goals but they weren't his fault...<cough>Rooney<cough>...

Sunday's Scores:

Aston Villa and West Brom drew 1-1. Paul Robinson scored the equalizer in the 90th minute for West Brom.

Tottenham defeated Newcastle 1-0.

Everton made history today when striker James Vaughn became the Premier League's youngest scorer with Everton's fourth goal in their 4-0 rout of Crystal Palace at the age of 16 years 270 days.

Not a great game for Tottenham today, but a good result against Newcastle all the same. 1-0, I'll take it. Was going to go to the game, but they moved it to Sunday & I have been visiting family today so couldnt make it.
The race for 4th-7th position in the league is getting interesting. We have some tough games coming up, but anything can happen. Hopefully we can push for a European spot.
Talking of Europe...my sisters significant other is off to Germany on Monday (he's a long term rabid Chelsea fan) to see them play Bayern.

COME ON YOU SPURS!!!

i usually support the EPL side, but i must admit that i'm pulling for Bayern in this one. my sister lived in the Munich area for a couple years and i had a great time when i went to visit her. i've been a Bayern supporter ever since. should be a good match at Olympiastadion.
