I'll be there...I'll post a report on how he looks. They're playing against Mardy Fish and James Blake.

Tres used to play for A&M... Then went pro after seeing his bud Andy have so much success... Big mistake, given that he'd played 5 singles his one year here.

He's from Lubbock. I was glad to see him go to A&M, but disappointed he left after one year.

Well Roddick and Tres won tonight 6-4,6-4. Tres was abusing Blake on out wide serves....seemed like maybe there was a dead spot on the court...but either way, Blake was getting really pissed b/c Tres aced him like 4-5 times out wide and got numerous more errors from Blake on that serve.

Tres doesn't look like he's changed a whole lot physically...still looks small compared to the rest of the players. He placed his serve real well but doesn't have a lot of pace on it....if he missed his location, Fish or Blake were pounding it back at his feet and he was unable to return it. He played the ad court tonight and his crosscourt backhand return looked pretty good. He also displayed good hands at the net and some nice touch on a few well-timed lobs.

Overall, an impressive showing to defeat the defending doubles champs from last year. Of course, it helps when your partner is Andy Roddick.

After the match, my fiance and I saw the players leaving the stadium. My fiance managed to get to the front and got autographs from Roddick and Tres...pretty cool.

Wish Tres would have stayed at A&M longer. I think it would have benefited him and A&M in the long run.
