On a different note, some other Blues from Texas and New York went to the Bridge and saw both the Arsenal and Fulham matches. One of 'em called me today and is getting me a shirt with the new Chelsea badge on it -- the first one out. It's just a plain blue T-shirt with the badge on the front, but I'm still pretty pumped. Plus, I save the $25 shipping cost that Kitbag or the Chelsea Megastore charge.

Nice, BBRex. A friend in London went to the FA Cup semifinal between Arsenal and Blackburn and bought me a program. I'll pick it up at the post office tomorrow. It will go nicely with my program from the match I went to and the one he sent me from when Arsenal finished last season unbeaten against Leicester.

My last Stat 652 assignment is due Thursday, and the only day I can work on it Wednesday -- during the Chelsea-Liverpool CL semifinal. This SUCKS!!!! At least I'm confident that the Blues can pull off the victory.

No way, Sooner. Besides, I got up extra early and got my stat homework done (OK, mostly done) just so I could watch the Blues put a hurtin' on Liverpool. In an hour, it's on!

30 minutes in, it's still scoreless. Chelsea has missed two chances, one a Lampard shot that should've been put away, but went high. Liverpool has had a chance or two, but nothing too dangerous. Good match so far.

Wow! Baros had a great header for Liverpool, but an amazing save by Petr Cech denies the goal. Great stuff. Six minutes until halftime.
