the audio is being archived - later i plan to listen to the game again (had trouble logging in) and hear how it went. also post game interview with coach Phil. I did hear some of what Phil said - he said that we were often second to the ball and in the end, stringing together seconds lead to the other team scoring a goal. the little I did hear - it seemed MSU was reading the passing lanes - we had trouble finding each other's feet
Michigan St. is not a good team. They won 3 Big 10 games last year and just lost this year to Cincinnati. I hope we just played an awful game and got it out of our system.
the grass on their field is a lot longer than our aggie soccer complex which is premium like carpet. passes are slow getting to where ur trying to put them and most of the time come up short. we kept getting our passes picked off because of this. also, whenever we would try to compensate for this we would overshoot our man and MSU would end up with a break.
sloppy play, and i expect us to get it out of our system sooner rather than later.
also on the audio broadcast the announcer kept pointing out that the forwards looked lazy and stationary the entire game.
have you ever played soccer? That doesn't make a damn difference except for maybe the first couple minutes. Unless you suck at soccer, and they ARE girls...
it obviously mattered the entire game cause they never figured out how to deal with it...
wish someone woulda gone and told em they didnt have to keep sucking the entire second half too cause it only should have affected them for a couple minutes. we woulda won then
