The funny thing is that the results against the US irritate the Mexican players and press so much that instead of looking for ways to re-establish dominance over the US, they whine and cry like a bunch of babies about the US tactics, or how unfair it is that Bruce Arena doesn't have the pressure that Ricardo Lavolpe has. They even consider firing a coach that has gotten them qualified with 2 games left, and Mexican players have to threaten to boycott the national team in order to save his job.

If we are looking at history...lets look at the overall record:...19-10-12
Or better yet...since you like meaningless and selective information, let's look at a neutral site...the FIFA world ranking...
1 Brazil
2 Argentina
3 Netherlands
4 Czech Republic
5 Mexico
6 USA
Just like I said before. Things seems to be back where they belong....
Wait? Didn't Mexico beat Brazil in the Confederations Cup? Why aren't they number 1 then? It couldn't be because the FIFA rankings aren't worth the paper they are written on is it? (and I'll still claim that fact when the US passes Mexico in a couple days) Way to use as "evidence" (and I use that term loosely) a tool that is widely criticized for being worthless. It really strengthens your position...
19-10-12...true enough. But I tell you what, if dominating the US in the 70's, 80's, and early 90's is reason for you to rejoice and wet yourself...go ahead. I won't stop you. Personally, results from three decades ago would ring a little hollow for me but if that's what gets you off, go ahead. I'll just stick to the stats that matter...what's happened in the recent past and present.
7-2-1...take a good look at it because the number on the left is only getting higher.
