What Maestro said. They're sucking the life out of the EPL. As a neutral, this season is gonna suck. Looks like I'll have the excitement of a relegation battle and that's about it.

All I want for Xmas is for any team to be within three points of Chelsea...

How is Chelsea winning any different than past domination of the EPL by Arsenal or ManU?

There's plenty of football left to play and they haven't looked as good as they did last year to this point.

I'll probably be following the League Championship just as much as the EPL to see if my Hull City Tigers will be promoted for the third year in a row.

The way things are going, Chelsea will (for all practical purposes) have the title sewn up by December. I don't remember anyone being that dominant...not even Arsenal when they had their record unbeaten run. Chelsea are already 6 points clear (7 of ManU) and haven't allowed a goal let alone drop points. As a neutral, its pretty hard to get excited of even a semblance of a race existing into November.

...and I'm with you sixiron. I'll probably pay a lot more attention to Reading and Yeovil. Hoping for promotion for Reading but Yeovil can just survive without being relegated in League One, I'll be happy.

I can't be upset. At least it looks like it won't be 50 years between titles again.

Yeah, I wouldn't want to be called a ManU ponce either.

This season is so noncompetitive I actually forgot my Gunners were playing yesterday, and didn't remember to check the score until about 10:30 last night. This is just really sad.

When will you soccer (oh, excuse me, "football" fans grow up and realize that you worship a flawed game? It's an obsolete, primal game meant to be played by CHILDREN. Take a look at the football evolutionary scale and you'll see several much more sophisticated, interesting descendants--rugby, Australian football, Gaelic football and American football. Take your pick from the above list. THEN, you'll you have a real sport to look forward to each week.
