I'm not sure if this has been posted here or not, but only five minutes or so into Tulane's game, Tulane forward Jill Sharp collided leg to leg with a UCF player and, well....I'll just say that the sound of the leg breaking could be heard in the stands.
The UCF player, after about 5-10 minutes on the ground eventually jumped up and ran off, but they had to bring in an ambulance for Jill. When the EMT's got there, they had to hook her up to an IV right there on the field. Couldn't really got all that good of a view, since it was on the other side of the field, but all signs pointed to it being a compound fracture and everything.
Haven't heard anything more, but I just really hope she'll be okay.
