KJ's dad was messing with us after the game when we asked how far it was to Penn State and he said; "Well it's only 12 hours.....from St. Louis!" Got a kick out of it. KJ's mom said she would pay for our tickets if we went....funny family.
Way cool... I teach at A&M and support all of my student athletes. I have taught 5 soccer players and they have impressed the heck out of me...very bright...great personalities. Mr. Fool and I can but hope the game will be televised. We did catch the SMU game...good stuff, Ags!
I will be there! Nice place I drove down last year for the mens basketball game! I had no idea they were coming here, just found out today. Of course it is a relatively short drive from Baltimore.
A short drive from Baltimore? It looks to me like at least 3 hours. I'm flying in there (BWI) since it's the cheapest flight I could find. When I went a couple of years ago, the flights into State College were more reasonable.
So...am I going to have icy mountain roads to contend with, or what? I'm a Southerner!
It is about a 3-3 1/2 hr drive, but if you are from TX, like I am, a three hour drive is like driving down the block (big smile). I don't know about the weather yet, I will have to check on that.
The game is this saturday at noon. You can catch the game on the radio.
I'd also be up for sacrificing myself by carrying luggage just to make the trip but I'm gonna have to get some work done this weekend. I'll be at the CE lab listening to the game over the internet radio, 1150 AM.
