Not sure if this is relevent here, but I graduated from Fullerton State in 1976. About that time, the Titans started playing football games on campus (used to play at Anaheim Stadium, now called Edison Field, or at Eddie West Field in Santa Ana). In any event, the team and coaching staff used to erect temporary bleachers that were borrowed from the Long Beach Grand Prix race site. The Titans kept the bleachers for the season (5-6 home games), dismantled them after the season and they were eventually rebuilt for the race.
It was a cool deal- actually known as Titan Field, the place was nicknamed "Erector Set Stadium." They packed 7000 plus per game into that place. They even brought in temporary lights for night games. It was neat.
