I predict for the first time we will beat them. Based on tu's swims yesterday and today at their invitational meet in Austin - our season bests are generally better than theirs. Our depth in freestyle is incredible. Most telling - our 200 free relay was faster. Their 400 medley is still faster but I'm not sure we have put our best group together. Erin Briskie wasn't in form at the last meet. SMU soundly beat tu earlier in a dual meet while we beat SMU two weeks ago.

That sounds great, however I will not get all excited until I see it happen during conference.

It could be that they might be going through a tougher work out and are more tiered then our girls but it also could be that we are actually better this year..........who knows.

We will have to wait and see until everybody is shave and tapered for the same meet.

I think Texas is a tiny bit deeper across the board than the Ags but the meet could easily come down to the wire. This will be A&M's best Big 12 meet ever without a doubt.

I know my prediction is not a sure thing. But I think we can do it. I don't think Texas is more tired than our girls. At their invitational this weekend they swam their best times of the year - but they were generally just slightly slower than ours. We have great depth in freestyle and are solid in just about everything else. Texas is clearly faster in breastroke. It looks like Hayley and Sturdy are out for the year so we're both missing one of our best.

I think this will be a great test for Bultman to get his team ready for the Big12s, then the NCAAs.
