They definitely should not transfer the team's records as done in the baseball transfer of the Washington Senators to the Dallas Rangers.

What happened to the Side Kicks? Where did they go? It has been awhile since I lived in the DFW area.

Tool, I accepted the job and will be moving to the Concord area Jan 16. Are there any A&M football watching places in the area?

I'm just glad that Dallas now has a reasonable road trip! Looks like the fans are already getting into each others faces - good stuff! I have no doubt that this will quickly be the best rivalry in MLS (taking a slight edge over the other ones for various reasons - Brimstone, played more often; DC-Metro, quality of play; LA-SJ, doesn't exist.)

The Sidekicks, btw, lost their ownership group a few years ago and haven't been able to reconstitute it yet. I know they are still working on in, but they haven't gotten it together yet.

Cool! I don't know where to watch the game up in Concord, as it's about 55 miles away from where I live. I know that the San Francisco Bay Area A&M Club sometimes meets at Monaghan's in the city for games. http://demo.metabyte.com/sanfranciscoamc/

Of course, there's always my house. I got DirecTV with the sports package and ESPN Gameplan as soon as I moved out here in September. I couldn't stand to watch exclusively Pac-10 football for a whole season. No giant screen or HD yet, though. Just a 36" ProScan.

In any case, make sure you get out on the weekends and really enjoy the area, because you're certainly going to pay for the privilege. There are endless opportunities for outdoor activities of all kinds in some of the most beautiful areas of the country. And no matter what the official TexAgs opinion of San Francisco, it really is one of our greatest cities.

ok I spilled the beans elsewhere on texags, I guess I should here as well.

I have graciously accepted the position of Director of Sponsorship Sales with the MLS team here. I am excited about the team and the opportunity.

I hope everyone here can make it out to as many games as possible.

I am going to miss working with the A&M SPorts Network but this was a move I had to make.

You looking to hire any staff to help you out? Seriously.

seriously.

YES. we are. positions are filling up fast. My staff is complete for the most part. there are ticket sales positions available as well as some PR/marketing.

don't knock it until you try it. that is how I got my start. it is NOT sitting around in a ticket window selling to walk up people. this is networking, reaching out to groups, companies, indivduals etc selling tickets.

you can find positions available at www.aegworldwide.com but beware, some of those positions have been filled, just not removed from the list. you can find them under contact us.

DFW soccer is lightyears above houston, so why would houston have gotten it?

Except not. I grew up playing competitive soccer in Houston and we regularly beat Dallas teams. Hell the best teams in my age group in the state were all from Houston.
