i think it was clear to all what my point was.

please go by the local library and pick up some books to read. do yourself a favor and start in the childrens section.

First of all ag711 show some damn respect, Cory is the only person on this site who has actually played tennis for A&M so you can stfu right now.

Second I have come to talk a little smack... John is 2-0 now and I ran across this line,
5. John Nallon, A&M def. (#71) Raoul Schwark, MN 6-4, 6-1
5. John Nallon, A&M def. Brent Werbeck, BSU 6-1, 6-4

HA!

^Aggie11... As kinda mentioned by Raven, I think this whole debate comes down to how much $$ Nallon got from coach Cass.. If he got a big scholarship, then yes I'd say he's been kinda a bust and be dissapointed in his peformance here at A&M... But if we are giving a 1/2 or less partial, he'd be a steal at that level & I'd be very happy with #6 singles level performance.. And we shouldn't rip the kid at all..

Coryhub- Congrats on a great career at A&M and good luck coaching at TCU. I remember a few years back when you guys played Colorado at home, some of my friends and I cheered against you in the Colorado match... Just to clarify, we were cheering for our buddy and teammate from high school (Southlake Carroll)- Justin Hunter.

nallon's not playing at 6...he's playing at 5. and if he were playing at 4, he'd still be 2-0.

my guess is that you will see nallon play at 4 before the season is over.

Aston04 - Thanks I appreciate the kind words, but I am no longer coaching at TCU. I left TCU after last year and have been at Univ of Arizona since August. Its kind of a rebuilding project, but everything is in place to be a top 25 team in the next few years. We got some real good recruits next year and playing in the pac 10 gives us 10 matches (home and away every year) against top 20 schools (stan, ucla, usc, cal, wash)...

Good luck at Arizona... Are you guys going to try arrange a home and home with A&M?

Nallon is really playing well and looks like he'll be very solid for us this year in the bottom half of the lineup. Unfortunately, we don't have the depth to be a top team this year. Dakki is ready for retirement and can't hold down the fort at 2 - what is his dual match record since his "sophomore" year anyway? Wooten and Joelson are talented and will hopefully come into their own this year -- if they don't, this team will be in serious trouble. Someone also needs to step up at 6 - so far, it's looked pretty grim down there.

I predict that after a very slow start (this upcoming stretch looks brutal), they will turn it on and finish strong in conference play, ending the year anywhere from #20-35.

I'm sorry, you're right -- I thought we had been swept at 6 but it was at 4, which is what I should have said.

What a joke. People are still trying to bash on John, dude has stepped his game up and has stepped into a solid #4-6 role and sideliners try and say he isnt good. Can definitly tell some of these chumps on this site are stat junkies and have no clue what it takes for a TEAM to win. Get the f.uck off of john's arse and be happy he is on the team and prodoucing rather than trying to live this self fullfilling prophecy by acting like you are better than him. If you can actually beat John at tennis I think you can talk but if not stfu you bucnh of dumb arses.
aggie11
How long do you want to ignore this user?
OH stfu you freakin cry baby what are you his boyfriend or something. Fact is were not a good team this year...Its quite depressing for a school our size and with resources were doing this poorly.

Are you better than the football players when you bag on them or the basketball players?? I will bag on John or any aggie tennis player as I see fit..you can go F yourself for all I care.

I think that the Wichita match is on there merely to get a notch in the W column. By playing it on the same day as Tulsa, it does not count as another match (NCAA limits days you can play matches on, not actual number of matches). Normally I would say this is a good move, but I think that Tulsa will take us to the wire. We will beat Wichita State easily but they are not as bad as you might think, and I would hate for some of our guys to run out of gas in the 3rd set against Tulsa because they already played a tough match in the morning...and lets face it, we don't have a lot of depth, so it's not like Cass can sit too many folks out against Wichita St.

Coryhub
How long do you want to ignore this user?
its been a tough start but they have plenty of matches against higher ranked teams and with a win or two will move up dramatically now that its computer based ranking
Ags40luv
How long do you want to ignore this user?
Don't put too much weight in the rankings yet, for at least a month. More wieght is put on who you lose to and what they are doing, versus your wins. Ags have 10 home games coming up, outdoors instead of indoors.
Coryhub
How long do you want to ignore this user?
actually your wins are more important...the computer takes the avg of all the teams you beat and subtracts the avg of all the teams you have lost to and that determines your computer avg....basically every time a team wins that you have beaten it helps you out big time and if the teams you lost to win then that helps your average because their avg will go up and even out a bad loss....but still the first 2-3 computer rankings are usually way skewed because there are not enough results and thus you see big jumps (south alabama) and big drops (ags, miss st)
