as the start of the season approaches, I really only see one question for the batting lineup...who will bat #3 this year?

Do Megan and Amanda each move up one spot to #3 & #4, so Amanda still protects Megan in the order or does Amanda go from #5 to #3?

We supposedly have one of the top players in the country coming in at short. Knowing that I take everything that is said by the individual who said this I take it with a grain of salt. Though someone I do trust with softball info say's she's the best short in the houston area.

I dont know how the line-up will look other then Sharonda will lead off, Megan and Amanda will back each other up, and the rest will fill in the gaps.

Holly Riddley is one of the top players in the country and will start at Short Stop... i think she will bat 3rd or 5th...all depends where they want to bat amanda........and yes Holly is a BADASS

excellent, that's the kind of inside info we're looking for. According to her bio she is 5'9", so should have good range at SS. Apparently played on the same club team as Megan.

so i just got word, in the fall ronda hit 3rd, megan 4th, amanda 5th and Holly 6th...don't really know how it will go this season, but thats how it was in the fall, and yes ronda can hit a ton as well...

Is Amanda OK? or was the tourney just a random bad day that any pitcher can have? I worried that they pulled her so early in that final game--they really were not that far behind?

Amanda pitched 6 innings in the final game against Oregon. Against Arizona she was pulled after one inning, but that had to be because she was getting bombed. For the weekend, she pitched in three games, with two of the outings being what I consider 'good' and the third 'not good.' She just had no run support against Oregon.

This performane indicates to me that her health is good. She didn't pitch this summer, so this would have been her first game competition since last year. Looks to be in good shape so far.

I was just watching live stats and it looked like they had pulled in against Oregon for someone named Lisa. I am glad that is not the case.

Yes, the bats need to get going to help out the pitchers.

Lisa G did come in to relieve against Arizona, but Amanda pitched a complete game against Oregon, at least according to the box score at Aggie Athletics.

I am sure that is right. The live stats during the games are really messed up a ton of the time.

Lisa isnt a no-name pitcher. She pitched at Bryan high same time Cat was setting all her HS records. They actually met in the state finals, win going to Cat in 13 or so I believe. Lisa just doesnt have the flash of Amanda or Cat.
