Houston Dynamo??? 1836 makes more sense.

If anyone is offended by 1836, then they should move to Mexico.

It should be "Dynamo Houston," not Houston Dynamo (in the likes of Dynamo Kiev).

hint #3, it IS a very traditional soccer name. mostly seen in europe

I'm still trying to figure out how this "hint" was not total B.S.

EDIT: I guess maybe if you count the western part of Russia as Europe . . . but I always thought it was in Asia.

Western Russia and the former Soviet states west of Russia (Ukraine, Belarus etc) are all considered to be in Europe. Everything east of the Urals is Asia...at least I'm pretty sure that's the line.

And that is today's geography lesson.

Thanks! I actually looked it up yesterday and now I do seem to remember something from geography about the Ural mountains being the line. I've still never heard any Russian called a European. Interesting.

Russia, Ukraine, Baltic states, etc all compete in World Cup from European pool.
