8-0 lost to BYU??? at home................

the offense is really struggling. scarborough has not been the same on the mound since she took the shot to the head last year. hopefully they will get it together before conference play starts.

But so many errors! Not like us.

Megan is about the only player on the team putting up numbers consistent with last year. Most of the other players have much lower batting averages.

Conference play is going to be tough, but the SOS is so high, the Ags should make the NCAA postseason, if they can just finish above .500

We replaced three or four seniors with true freshmen. These freshmen are talented but they do not have the leadership as of the present. We will grow up over this year. Our pitchers are not strike out pitchers so we must play perfect defense behind them,which we are not doing much of the time. Coach Jo will get them there, we need to be patience with her.

That score is slightly misleading. Amanda gave up a two-run homer, yes... but there were errors galore that broke the game open. A couple mental errors (throwing home instead of taking the out at 1st). Probably should have lost about 4-0... but an ugly loss nonetheless.
