Did your band follow your golf team around playing that stupid song every time one of your fellas shot par?

It was a good effort against really tough competition. All 5 of the Aggies are terrific golfers and I know they will do great at Regionals!

Actually I think the policy is they play it for all pars or better for congratulatory purposes. It is also played for Bogey or worse to lift the golfer's spirits. In fact anytime anything is done in regulation, fairways and greens, the song is played.

Caleblyn . . . . Thanks for doing such a good job keeping up with Aggie golf. You're posts made things much more exciting! I wondered if you used to be an Aggie golfer?

Thanks for the compliment Aggiemom!

Was I an Aggie Golfer???
Actualy I was neither! Due to goofing off and not applying myself in high school, I did not make it in to A&M. I ended up at La Tech because they only looked at the Math and English scores from the ACT. A 33 in math helped alot, but the sub 20's in english and reading kept me out of A&M. I tried to transfer but I would have lost a lot of credits and would have never met the woman God had for me. So La Tech is my alma mater. However, I was born in Bryan and lived there until about 7 years old. So, I a have always been and always will be an avid fan of the Aggies!!

Golfing....I played in a tourney this past weekend which was the 2nd time I have played in 7 years. The good news was that I shot a 92! The bad news is that I was using the best drive out of a foursome. I was driving well but there was someone on the team who was on fire w/ about 280 yds and straight as an arrow. So golfing is not my specialty and it is too expensive anyhow!

So why so I keep up with Aggie golf?? Let me answer that this way...If it was an event with A&M playing in a Hop-Scotch contest, I would be on here posting about every stone thrown and every foot touching the pavement!!! I AM A FANATIC!!!
