By the way, is there a crueler thing in sports than making the losing team sit there on the field and watch the other team celebrate while they build the podium? This is painful.

Arsenal gets to walk past the champion trophy while they get their 2nd place medals.

The crowd is booing the refs getting their medals.

I'm pretty sure the Barca fans weren't too terribly happy with the officiating either.

The officiating was pretty bad. The sending off/disallowed goal was botched horribly. It's hard to say which team it really hurt more. Puyol barely made contact, if any at all, leading to Arsenal's goal. And then the ref seemed to let some Barca fouls go uncarded that looked a lot worse than fouls he booked Arsenal players for. Henry might have been the recipient of the worst yellow card I've ever seen. He blasted the ref in the postmatch interview - it will be interesting to see what happens as a result of that.

you arent voted FIFA World Player of the Year two years a row if you are second best.

Now if you are talking about this one game that is a good discussion to have.

I was talking about how Ronaldinho flat out sucked for this particular game. Henry out played him the entire day. Dinho was punked time and time again by the Arsenal D. Which I thought was unusual because more often than not he can take and dish it physically.
