Duke is -5 under and up by 18 strokes!!

Duke is absolutely destroying it today. Started 3 back of the lead. They now lead by 18 strokes.

The real Duke showed up today. I guess now you know why they have been ranked #1 all year. It's been a really tough day for the Aggies. Hopefully they are saving their best round for tomorrow. They'll tee off starting at 8:00. Hopefully off #1. Tommorrow will be a good day!

Duke looses one player and gains the national player of the year that either qualified or came very close to qualifying for the US Open. They also only have one Jr on the team!!

We are battling with Tenn on the worst round of the day...we are at +24 and Tenn is at +26.

I feel sorry for the girls cause they have been playing so well. Hopefully they won't dwell on today and move on to tomorrow and just try and beat our best finish ever of finishing #22 (last year).

Keep in mind that this is our 3rd year in a row to make it to the finals! We are the Big XII Champions and we will come back even stronger next year!

Key stat of the day...

6 double bogeys and 1 triple bogey.

We'll be going off #10 in the morning. I'm sure they will have a much better day.

great season, but when was the last time any Aggie sports program finished the season exceeding or even meeting expectations (other than mens BBall). Seems like we always get upset.

Since I am in Baton Rouge, I'll check out LSU to see what they are doing. LSU had a player withdrawl from the tourney for some reason unknown, so they have been playing with 4 players which means the high score will not be dropped.

Their best player just posted quad, double, and triple bogeys. That is 9 strokes added to the team in only three holes. That is how fast it can fall apart!!

Our current national ranking is #12. Not bad for a team that wasn't even mentioned in the pre-season rankings. We have far out paced expections this year. There are probably 330 or so women's golf teams that would love to be were the Aggies are today. I'm extremely proud of all the girls.
