Simply because of Guus Hiddink. Don't think they'll make the semis but I wouldn't be surprised to see them in the QFs as if they qualify 2nd, they'll play the winner of Group E and that means they'll get a team that has probably played 3 tough matches.

Cote d'Ivoire put up a less than impressive showing today tying Chile 1-1 on a penalty kick. Chile is really bad, probably as bad as the teams in CONCACAF we play. But its still pre-WC so these scores don't mean a whole lot, more importantly is how your players gelled and what kind of contributions you recieved from players that will most likely come off of the bench.
