What are our chances to surprise them. I realize ISU is a good team that is streaking, but they did just lose to NU. We need to play a whole lot better than the last few games, but the Texas game was probably the low point of the season. I think they can pick up for this game

That game was so sloppy. We Outhit them in the 1st 3 games and still lost, one because of errors and other mistakes. Ammerman stepped up huge, today, but after awhile, ISU took her out of the game and no one else replaced those kills.

so we're basically eliminated right?

Realistically speaking, our postseason hopes ended two weeks ago. November is just a matter of finishing what we started and then hitting the showers.

so next wednesday's game will be the last one for the vball team

What's sad is that even if we were to sweep Nebraska next week and win our other two remaining matches, we still wouldn't have enough wins to even qualify.

What's even sadder is that the Big 12 may be taking as many as 7 teams this year. Even Baylor may manage to squeak in.

Trust me, Bill Byrne knows what a winning volleyball program looks like. I don't claim to know what his timetable is, but if he decides there's a problem, it will be taken care of.
