Well at least we know it wasn't for a lack of effort. They played there hearts out, and Turco looked freakin' amazing. Gotta like our chances next year, but we just need to win a few more of those first 82 games.

Well I had to come back for one final post. Here's hoping we shake some things up in the off season. Valiant effort from Marty Turco. Other than him and the checking line and Mo for one game I can't say anyone else on this team had a good series.

Marty deserved better for how well he played. I have been very critical of him and his post season play but he shut me up and has me fully back in his corner.

Kudos to Halpern, Stu Barnes, and Lunquist, they played their asses off in this series.

Nice talking hockey with you all even if it was only one series. My focus will now shift back to my Dallas Mavericks (who also better pull their head out of their ass!!!).

I agree, pretty good season overall, but these first round exits are getting irritating. Hopefully we can do something this offseason to remedy it.

And thank you Marty for a great playoff series. I admit that I was also somewhat skeptical after the past few playoffs, but I am now behind you 110% and look forward to being back here next year.

I know this may not be the popular stance, but here goes.
1) Tippet must go. Ive been a stars fan for a long time and i appreciate that defense won us a Stanley cup, but, our style holds back our gifted offensive players.Tippet should have given more ice time to ribeiro and lindros should have played the entire series.
2) Sign mike ribiero.
3)Put a package together with a couple of finns, and some minor league guys and get a sniper. a pure scorer.
4)we are old on defense.Let grossman play all next year, deal with his screwups, and maybe try to find a zubov clone.
5)I will think of more when im not so pissed.

Yeah, we did not fair well against the blue jackets.

Tippet was supposed to be a "offensive" guy but i think out philosophy is defense and he may be stifled.

Taking a page from Cuban's book, Hicks is putting together a video of all the 'horrible' calls in that game and sending to the league. I expect the Cup to be awarded to the Stars retroactively once they see it.

Yeah it really is pointless to send in a tape after you have already been eliminated. Another reason why I just cannot stand Tom Hicks. He is a dumb baseball owner as well.
