As most of you probably know, Jeanne Sutherland is now the Head Professional at the Vail Golf Club. I have probably played there about 6 or 7 times this summer and she is definitely making an impact up there. While the course is not at the level of the Broadmoor or Red Sky or other resort courses like that it is a very fun course to play and is alway in great shape.

I would suggest anyone up there visiting should play a round at Vail and stop in and tell her hello. She loves Texas A&M and would love for you to stop by.

Being the great person that she is . . . Today she is in Palm Springs, California caddying for Nicole at the LPGA Q-School. Ashley is playing too. Thanks Jeanne! You're the best!

Mom, how are the girls playing?

Through the first 2 rounds Ashley is +1 (tied for 14th) and Nicole is +4 (tied for 39th). The field of 168 was cut to the top 70 today. After 2 more rounds the top 30 advance to the final stage to be played in Florida in November. I think they can both make it!
