Anybody watching this match? Roddick is playing out of this world kinda tennis and is still loosing. Federer is unbelievable. If you watch Fed's movement while also watching when Roddick hits the ball you can see Fed move in the right direction almost the instant the ball hits Roddick's racquet.

The only two players I'd like to see win this other than Federer is Roddick or Blake...but that wont happen now. You gotta like Federer on the court and during after match interviews. The guy is a class act...

Fed is just the man. Holy crap. How do you sit back there and consistently return 145 on the gun? And return it in a way to put roddick on his heels instantly? in-frickin-credible!

i hope roddick gets him one time before the end of his career. dont think it will happen, but we never know.

The point where Roddick hit a serve right at him and Federer simply flcked it back at Roddick's feet was amazing.

that was just incredible. no backswing, no nothing. it was a 130mph volley from 2 feet behind the baseline.

that whole game just pissed me off.

Roddick was playing THE BEST tennis I've seen him play... and all for naught.

I have all the love and respect in the world for Federer... but I just almost makes me hate him to see him so emotionless and perfect in the game.

He is emotionless while actually playing, which is what most tennis players are taught. In order to be mentally tough, you cant be reacting to missed shots, the crowd, the umpire, etc. He stays focused and calm throughout the match. Once he's off the court or in an interview he is extremely jovial. I dont see anything wrong with this at all. In fact I am astonished at the way he stays composed during a match. He also seems to never be tired, out of breath, or struggling with his fitness.

This is a problem for Americans. They want to see people clown around. most of the American players out there right now can't control themselves and it mentally takes them out of games.

I was watching one of the earlier Roddick matckes and both he and his opponent for long stretches of the match were simply hamming for the crowd.

this was justin g. one of roddick's good friends. it was quite obvious who was going to win the match and they began to cut up for the crowd.

andy takes his game very seriously. if i'm playing the best tennis of my career and the guy is smacking me around... i'm getting emotional. there is no other player that is that emotionless out there as federer... during the match.

he lets it out afterwards.

Sadly Roddick will never beat Federer.
Just not good enough and I really don't
think Andy believes he has a chance.
Two very difficult hurdles to clear.
