I'm curious about something I saw at the game last night. The OU coach spent the entire game on the maroon border around the court, and he even got onto the court surface a couple of times during play. At one point, the linesman had to lean in to see around the coach.
Does volleyball have some kind of "coach's box" that keeps coaches off the court and interfering with play? As I think about it, the yell leaders could have done a "Sit down, bus driver!" at any point in the match.
As a player, I think having my coach just inches away shouting instructions during the game would be intimidating, but I guess the OU girls are used to it.
