Sips take first game 30-25

Ags drop the first 2 games 25-30, 28-30.

Been doing a good job keeping it close so far. We obviously missed a huge chance by letting game 2 slip away after leading 26-24.

Ags drop game 3 25-30.

I was pretty impressed with our team tonite in the first two games. We kept it extremely competitive, at a level I havent seen this year. Jillian delivered once again, my main question was why Sarah Ammerman taken out late in the third game?

I also missed seeing any interaction between coach and players like their was in the KSU first game.

probably just trying anything to extend the game. She sat for a bit in the second game too I believe. It may just be a standard rotation.

The match ended on that serve that was called out late in the second game. The girls never recovered from it.

Seriously though, great effort from the girls tonight. I was proud how they hung into the game. Obviously out-talented with the height from tu. Losing that first game when the crowd was into it was tough and I thought that was it, but they fought back with an even better performance in the second game. Outstanding effort, just came out on the wrong end.

I hate buying into moral victories cause there is no excuse for being over-matched from our rival, but they did an great job representing A&M tonight.

Did anyone listen to the post game conference? I think Corbelli thinks our team revolves around Batis, she kept talking about how she was "back", but I couldn't help but notice the 4 huge receive errors Batis got during the game. I was impressed that Batis wasn't setting the ball over as much and actually going for kills, but for Corbelli to say that her performance tonight makes her able to sleep tonight is a little ludicrous.

Listen to it again. Batis being "back" was in reference to her attacking. I'd say 13 kills with a .400 hitting percentage is good reason for LC to be optimistic.

I was impressed by what our ladies showed on Wed night. If we consistently played like we did, there's no doubt in my mind we could be #4 in the Big12. Unfortunately that hasn't happened.
