Howdy Ags!

My family has sat in LC8 (wheelchair platform) since the stadium was re-built. Sadly, my son (who was in a wheelchair) was called to his eternal home in January and we no longer qualify for LC8 wheelchair.

We were moved to FB4 Row 10 aisle. We're struggling with the move because we loved our seats in LC8 and got to know all the neighbors around us, We were also shaded the entire game (I'm a porcelain skin red-head so that matters!).

Trying to decide what to choose for our seat selection (which was yesterday but we didn't move).

Looking for input from those who have sat in the seats. Given the choice, what would you choose and why:

- FB4 Row 10 (aisle, have to look opposite direction to see jumbotron, not shaded for early games)
- AC 11 Row 8 (middle of row, not shaded for early games, but can see jumbotron)
- ZC 6 Row 10 (aisle, can't see jumbotron but there is a TV, always shaded)

TIA

Don't necessarily have any advice to give on your selections but just wanted to say I'm very sorry for you and your family's loss. Aggie football is a place many of us make core family memories and my hope is that you're able to reflect on the positive and enjoyable moments you had with your son over the years. I know that first season back can be a tough one after a family member has passed so I'll be praying for you and your family.

Sorry to hear about your loss.

I can only offer general guidance on AC 11 since we have been on that side of the AC field for several years.

  • Correct on the view of the jumbotron, but can still see most of the plays provided not everyone is always standing.
  • Correct on the early games being in the sun, but usually not too bad if there is a south breeze which is not blocked.
  • North wind is generally blocked in the area
  • Still club access (not legacy, but still nice) and entry into the stadium

So sorry to hear of the loss of your son. Prayers for you and your family.

As for the ticket options, over the years, we have had seats in ZC, FB, AC and LC, (though not necessarily close to where you are asking about.) Also understand the need for shade as a fair skinned person. Hats, sunscreen and appropriate clothing are a necessity, but it's nice to have the club access for early games until your seats are in the shade. ZC is especially nice, as you can actually see the field from inside the club.

That said, my thoughts are that aisle seats are like gold. Have had them, and don't currently, and really miss them. View of the jumbotron would be my last consideration of the ones you've mentioned, when selecting seats.
