bleh...i went through quite an ordeal with those earlier this year...not fun at all. makes me worry about the day i may get pregnant. don't they grow with increased estrogen production?

hippie - fibroids are so unpredictable. A HIGH % of women with fibroids have them SHRINK when preggo. Crazy. But, yes, estrogen feeds them and makes them grow. I have 11 (two pretty big ones that couldn't be removed in my last surgery b/c of where they were in my uterus).

My fibroids didn't seem to be growing when i had my first ultrasound. 2.5 weeks later i had a scan and they had grown. I have another scan on monday. Fingers crossed!

He looks like he is just kicking it in there. The last scan showed him lounging around. He looked pretty peaceful! You can see the tumors close to him though. It is kind of scary.

You guys need to enjoy all these little guys while you can. My oldest went as a student in his organic chemistry lab and my youngest as a courtesy clerk at Kroger (at least he got paid!). It goes by way too fast, and there are some real cuties in here.
Tiny...I have had two friends with several large fibroids give birth to two healthy babys. I am sending all their good luck to you! In fact omne was 4 months pregnant before hse knew she was pregnant because the fibroids were hiding the baby!!!!
