the person that told me the definition? no she is white. Apparently her prof is an older middle eastern guy. I would like to know the validity of what she told me, and if it was just a biased soci/psyc definition or somethin.

she said because of that 'definition' that there is no NAAWP, no white scholarships, no grants and such to help out white people, and that if their were, all the minority rights' groups would be throwing a fit.

is this true even the least bit?

In all seriousness, I can take a joke, but occasionally, there are some very ugly things said on this board and others on TexAgs that are clearly racist. I usually try to discern intent. If you're making a harmless joke, no worries. If you're just saying something idiotic that you actually believe or intending to really insult someone, then you're a trashy racist mofo. That's all.

What are the racial percentages on those who commit crime, are unemployed, or are on welfare?

Except for said sociology major standards, how many incidents is the race card used by whites vs minorities?

she also said the majority of crimes are commited by caucasion people, not minorities like we have been led to believe. but their harsher punishments for the minorities for some reason that i forget.

Also she stated something about how getting busted for crack actually has harsher penalties than for cocaine... becuase black people favor crack and white people favor/can afford cocaine. judicial discrimation i think is what she called it.

Well white people paid good money for that cocaine I don't think its fair to throw them in jail before they can enjoy it.

My veterinary school actually has a policy that discriminates TOWARDS males. They are actually working toward a quota (genderwise, at least) so that our school can reflect the US population.

The gay island comment just made me think of this. I love the scene in Boiler Room where they go to the bar in NYC and the broker tells the group of gay guys that they should ship all of them off to an island somewhere and one of the gay guys replys, "Guess what honey? You're on it." and high fives all the other guys at the table. It cracks me up everytime because the broker is so ashamed while the gay guys are so satisfied with themselves. Hilarious.
