HEB

I imagine other grocery stores would carry it as well

Our HEB hasn't started carrying it yet here in League City.

We'll just have to agree to disagree on Blonde Sea Bass. I'm not sure calling it the most American is a particularly good thing. Reminds of the Miller Lite commercials where they talk about taking gold in Europe for Best American Style Light Lager. All I could think was "did you guys, Bud, and Coors demand a category for yourselves so you could actually win something?"

It's a travesty that they brew Shiner Light and Shiner Blonde and cut Shiner Kolsch and Shiner Dunkelweizen

Kolsch and Dunkelweizen are seasonal brews, one for summer, the other winter. I think they used to be called Shiner Summer Stock and Shiner Winter Brew.

I miss Shiner Honey Lager.

Lucky, when I say it's my favorite, I'm mixing a lot of factors in it. I know it's not the greatest tasting beer, but it's pretty good. It's pretty much everything I look for in a beer (other beers might be better in certain categories but not in other categories).

These are the factors I use: taste, cost, and alcohol content. I like Bock and some other heavier beers, but I can't drink those one after another without getting a TERRIBLE hangover. Blonde doesn't have the taste some of the other ones have, but it's very smooth and lighter than the other Shiner beers so I can drink more with out getting the effects of a darker beer. Blonde allows me to do this.

So when I say it's my favorite, I'm not saying it's the best tasting (it's pretty good though), but it's the best combination of the factors I listed.

I agree with the American Lagers. Blonde is a notch above the Buds and Miller, but American Lagers for the most part don't have much taste in comparison to other beers and ales. Coors is probably the best out of the big 3...

Sea Bass Coors tastes like water unless you're talking about the original

I could have sworn I saw the Dunkelweisen this winter and was just waiting on summer for Kolsh. Grr, that sucks.

No Slicer, you weren't. I have been saying for a while that I think they wish the 97 would have been the 100th.

If it's a sixer in the grocery store, couldn't one slickly rearrange the other sixers to end up with an assortment that's all one thing or another? .....
