Now, I don't know exactly what the mass of that little white car is, but my point is, if you lined up enough of them to equal 17 tons worth, the tank would steadily crush them one after another, no?

yeah I just did more thinking about it - a couple of zombies every second would do nothing - it would take a 17 ton mega zombie..

African or European zombies?

The only real answer is no amount of zombies would stop it. It creates way too much force for anything that small to stop it.

Oh, not true.

It's certainly feasible that at some point the tank engine would stall out from oxygen starvation due to the insane amount of zombie fluids being flung about and/or pooling.

I'm not going to belittle my reputation by answering such nonsense.

What SWC said plus the fact that the tank would simply ride up the pile of zombies.

what kind of zombies are we talking here?

resident evil zombies?
night of the living dead zombies?

the above type zombies are bull**** and should pose no problem...the wander around like old people missing their cane...no need to run from them....just blast 'em away with whatever you got whilst slowly walking backwards...so a tank would easily take them out....

now....

if we're refering to:

28 days later zombies...
dawn of the dead zombies...

then you've got a bigger problem....these zombies do not **** around....they can bust out into a full sprint at a moments notice....even if you had 100s of tanks, they couldn't stop 8-10 million of these crazy ****ers by the time they got to your fotress....

we need to take into account which type of zombies we are really dealing with here....

what if all the zombies linked their arms and legs together in a giant cube approximately 20x20x20 meters?

for that to happen, you would have to accept the fact that zombies can communicate and work as a team....

...yet, research has proven time and time again that zombies are soley independent...witnessing a horde of zombies does not mean they worked as a collective to mass at that one spot...it only means each zombie on an individual basis was attracted to that one area....

so the zombie cube can never happen...

Hard to tell... can you give me measurements in non-Commie units?

Didn't you people ever see that old Steve McQueen movie?

All those squashed zombies would simply coalesce into an amoebic, still living, though dead, smelly mass of mobile, carnivorous, protoplasmic, asexually reproductive jelly like The Blob.

Probably glowing green in color, it would easily engulf and assimilate all living creatures, including helpless humans in tanks, who would be mesmerized, hypnotized and victimized while just standing there, waiting in terror instead of running away after their tank ran out of gas.

Trust me, I'm a Zoology major who's seen every horror movie ever made.

Army ants, The Mummy, Zombies, the Borg, the 12th Man and the FTAB are all unstoppable.

Vampires and werewolves are also very dangerous, but they do, of course, take naps.

BTHO OU!!!!!

Gig 'em, FAST FRED '65.
