9PM is "the witching hour" where he begs for dinner, almost to the minute.
I asked him at 8:55 if he was hungry.

He doubles as a pretty good mobile anemometer too. During the freeze a couple weeks ago there was definitely a strong NW wind.
Not sure what she's dreaming about but it has her at full ridgeback! An occasional low growl to go with it.

This is Cosmo! We picked him up from the Grapevine Animal Shelter Saturday. He had been there 240 days! He's the cutest guy, just a little timid but he's adjusting quickly!
We lost Maggie well over a year ago, and honestly I'm still not over it. But I'm glad we got back in, there was certainly a hole to fill. You can tell by the look on his face, he's gonna fill it wonderfully! You could tell it was bittersweet for the staff, they are going to miss him.

Yesterday he felt comfortable enough to hop on the couch. That was actually really big. Kaneki and Chloe are showing him the ropes.
I can't believe he was there at the shelter for that long! He looks so cute.
Ya. It makes no sense. But I did ask and it really just came down to how timid he was around anyone new. He had gotten used to the staff, but people weren't willing to give him 2 or 3 visits, but I was. But he let me pet him right away. Dogs like me for some reason. So we took him home the same day. We got lucky!
