So...getting Olivia didn't work out...the breeder reneged on the transaction and gave her to her daughter when the daughter's female doxie passed unexpectedly. I don't know that I wouldn't have done the same.

On the other hand....things worked out for the better as we just got Emma Purdy from a breeder in Mabank. She is a chocolate brindle piebald.


Anabel is quickly teaching her all she needs to know about fitting in in our dachshund pack. They are glued to each other.


Dachshunds uber alles!

gosh I love dachshunds so much. I really want to get a dachshund when the bulldog passes, but there is no shot I can win the dog battle twice. We just got an Eskie pup. Eskies don't burrow cuddle and I am almost regretting not going doxie.

Oh cool, I just assumed this was your first. It had been 4 years since my last one passed and my kids were old enough by then, so we got Angel last summer. She's 3 or 4 as best as her foster mom could tell.

She's ridiculously sweet and adorable, now 'scuse me while I go dust mop the place to round up all of her fuzzies!
