I own a tux, too. Bought it when my daughter was in some deb thing in high school. Figured I'd wear it a bunch... at her sorority formal thing along with her wedding and other things like that.

She didn't do the sorority thing after all, and I had to force her to let me wear it at her wedding.

So twice.

Nice. I've never skied there, but we've eaten at the Summit House a couple of times when we go climb Rainier in the summer

Back in the day if people said you could dance it meant you had rhythm and could just move to the music or with someone.

Now, dancing is just a series of preset moves or routines. Really weird to me

Dancing has had preset moves for 100 years. Flossing is just this generation's white person dance. When I was a kid, there was the running man, the cabbage patch, the kid n play, etc.

You'd have to be at least into your 70s for you to remember a time where songs weren't either inspired by or inspired dances. The Twist isn't any different than what's going on now, and that came out in the late 50s/early 60s.

Once mass media came into being there were dances that were inspired by songs or vice a versa, the Jazz Age had its own such crazes in the Lindy Hop, the Charleston, etc.
