Blue I tried as words that sound like they end in Z but tried Please in the mix

Purple I never would have gotten.

5 hints on Strands. Spangram next to last. That category was a reach.

Yellow was so easy I thought there was no way that could be the answer. I did get it though after a couple of misses.
