I guess they'll wait to announce their tour until after Stillwater shows. Or more likely they'll announce this week.

So the band played together in January and it REALLY pissed off a lot of their fans as the concert in Oklahoma was supposed to be the first time the band was back together.
does 5 or 6 songs really count?JMac03 said:

I don't care or have skin in the game as I'm not going to OK. I'm just saying some people lost their poo.AustinCountyAg said:does 5 or 6 songs really count?JMac03 said:

I liked CCR when I was in college I have since grown up
I've really been enjoying their music since hearing about their return.Ragnar Danneskjoldd said:
Was big into them in my day. Music hasnt aged all that well, but some of it is still really good. I try to explain to my wife they were probably the biggest band in Texas for a year or two but she doesnt understand. I was also really big on jason boland and the stragglers.
cody canada owns the school of rock in new braunfels.
considering it was the OKstate Athletics dept who initiated/organized the entire thing with the purpose of raising money for their NIL fund I'd assume the weekend of concerts served its purpose.Milwaukees Best Light said:
Proceeds going to OKSt NIL was a little disappointing. Not sure what cause they should support, but raising money to throw at college athletes is kinda bleh. Maybe give the money to research whatever affliction the one band members kid had/has? Seems more appropriate.

I don't know them personally, but I'm going to guess they got a decent share of money for themselves out of the dealMilwaukees Best Light said:
