Damn, more than a decade off, I think you can allow them a couple rehearsal shows before playing in front of 40 thousand or so.

Where did they play? It is news to me, and I'm a bit surprised I haven't heard about it.

I'm honestly really glad I didn't end up going. I think it was too long from when they first sold the tickets to the shows - I had zero desire to go after that (plus the whole ticket fiasco)

My stepdaughter was there last night and she said a
noticeable number of people left within the first 30 minutes of the CCR set. I thought that was crazy, but she said that there were people who had been tailgating all day, lots of people around who were visibly pretty drunk before the concert even started. So maybe that's why. She and her boyfriend had a great time, but as she was describing it, I realized it actually didn't sound very fun to me at all. I guess that does make me old!

Would love to see them in an indoor venue, maybe Dickie's Arena or something, if that ever happens.

Proceeds going to OKSt NIL was a little disappointing. Not sure what cause they should support, but raising money to throw at college athletes is kinda bleh. Maybe give the money to research whatever affliction the one band members kid had/has? Seems more appropriate.

considering it was the OKstate Athletics dept who initiated/organized the entire thing with the purpose of raising money for their NIL fund I'd assume the weekend of concerts served its purpose.

Of all the things to reunite the band, didn't think it would be Poke athletics. Best thing they have ever done.

You could just say you hate capitalism and other people should get your approval before they spend their own money.
