I turn 40 at the end of next year, so I have roughly 1 year to do a bunch of silly **** to honor my youth.

What are the bucket list things you did / wish you would've done before turning 40? Can range from skydiving to creating your will.

That's because it was.

40s long gone for me.

Hike the Appalachian Trail, or the Pacific Crest Trail. Or hike as much of them as you can. Those would be my do-overs.

Just saying a couple points to think about-

Women think they are a catch at 35 and up. Nope....ur almost middle aged at that point.

And

At 40 it's perfectly fine to have a midlife crisis.

Maybe go to Antarctica?

I went to the Galapagos Islands a few weeks before I turned 40, I consider that a bucket list item for a nature nerd like me.

I will go back at some point.

Find a career that you can stay in for the next 20 years. Find a husband, get married, have a kid.

I wish I had learned to fly a gyrocopter.

Buy a boat.

Run a marathon.

When I was 39 I decided I wanted to run a marathon. I trained for 16 months. When I was one month removed from my 41st birthday I ran (and finished) the White Rock Marathon.

And then my obsessive compulsive nature took over. By the time I was 45 I'd run, and completed, 9 marathons.

I would make it a bucket list by 50

Visit each state and do

1.The best possible outdoor thing in that state
2. Best off the wall thing in that state
3. Eat at the most iconic place that fits your lifestyle in each state
