My old cookbooks have the mince pie recipe with various backyard wildlife. These days we settle for the jarred fruit.

The Holidays - Thanksgiving, Christmas & Easter are like family reunions in my family. A lot of food to cover everyone. I also smoked 3- 20 pound briskets, smoked a Ham, a bunch of link sausage, made pinto beans, German potato salad, smoked Mac & Cheese. Other family members pitch in various main dishes & sides.

I would recommend someone introduce the idea of contraception to your family if you need that much food.

I made pecan, cherry, buttermilk, and pumpkin. After a few days the pumpkin was still 75% uneaten and I tossed it out. The other 3 were mostly gone day 1.
